How to get rid of termites

A Natural Solution:

A natural way to try and get rid of termites is to purchase beneficial nematodes. Nematodes are worms that are used to eliminate garden pests by burrowing into them and causing them to die. You can purchase beneficial nematodes online or at your local gardening supply store.

If termites have infested a specific piece of furniture, an easy way to kill them is to expose the item to sunlight. Termites flourish in darkness and the light will kill them.

With large infestations: especially those involving the walls and beams of your home, it is best to call a professional.

• Pale or white colored.
• Can range from a few millimeters to over a centimeter in length.
• Sometimes referred to as "white ants".
